Picture Segment Description

FRAME 1 Elmo and Leela welcome the viewer to a very special day. Sesame Street is hosting the biggest number convention - Numeric Con, where everyone celebrates their favorite number characters. Elmo is posing as The Dark Nine, and Leela dresses as her favorite, Princess Three-ah, complete with three hair buns. They show off a list of things Elmo wants to do at the convention and head off ...

Numeric Con Leela Abby Elmo.jpg

FRAME 1 cont'd ... but first, they stop to talk with Abby Cadabby, who is attending Numeric Con as her favorite number superhero, "One-Da Woman." Her outfit is almost an exact replica of Wonder Woman's (complete with bracelets and lasso) with the addition of the number 1 on her belt and tiara. She sings the character's theme song, "She's da one, she's da woman, she's One-Da Woman!"

FRAME 2 Elmo, Leela, the Two-Headed Monster and other fans get a sneak peek at the new Doctor Two, as introduced by Mando. Doctor Two appears in his TWODIS, having brought some aliens with him (including the Martians and beings based on the Daleks and Cybermen). However, there are so many he can't keep track and doesn't have time to count them all. One attendee declares this the worst convention ever. The Dark Nine jumps into action and saves the day by counting the alien pairs by twos. The Doctor is grateful, and Elmo and Leela head off to do the next thing on his list.

FRAME 4 Elmo wants to get a picture with the Fantabulous Four as part of his Numeric Con plan. However, as Leela takes a picture of the group with two monsters (their biggest fan and their smallest fan), Disappearing Girl vanishes. (As the Human Torch counterpart explains, she's camera shy.) The fans are distraught, as they are left with only three out of four.

Elmo persuades Alan (who had not dressed up for Numeric Con) to fill in for Disappearing Girl (wearing a costume and blonde wig). Alan feels ridiculous but agrees to help for the sake of the math. Once again, the Dark Nine (Elmo) has proven himself a number hero.

FRAME 5 Leela and Elmo show off the photo they took with the Fantabulous Four and pursue the next item on Elmo's list: Get an autograph. They find themselves in line for Fiverine, who happens to be Chris' favorite hero. The critical attendee shows off his copy, which is comprised of five lines from Fiverine's five-crayon glove (it allows him to sign with super speed). Chris gets so excited to shake Fiverine's hand that he breaks all the crayons, preventing him from signing any more. The Dark Nine has a solution: With one crayon, he can make a number 5 instead. His idea works, and Chris is given the first version.
