Marble Nails—What are they?

Well, the marbling technique in nail art is done by adding nail polish into a bowl of water and slightly swirling the colors around, so that when you dip your fingers in it, you end up with a very cool-looking marble effect on your nails! Water Marble Nail Art Tutorials

1. Neon Marbled Nail Art

What You Will Need

• A bowl of water
• Orange nail polish
• Lime yellow nail polish
• Hot pink nail polish
• White nail polish
• Light blue nail polish
• Toothpick
• Cotton swab
• Nail polish remover

Tutorial

1. In a bowl of water, start adding drops of the nail polish.
2. Keep adding the different colored polishes in a concentric circle.
3. Once that's done, use the toothpick to swirl around the colors.
4. Swirl them around till you are happy with the design and dip your fingers into the colors, one by one.
5. Create the pattern once again in the water, if it's not enough for the nails.
6. Use a cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the area around the nails.

Most of the marbled nail art requires you to dip your nails into the water. However, this one is slightly different. Create the art first, let it dry and cut them up into sizes that will fit on your nails. This way you can use them later on as well!

• Blue nail polish

• Purple nail polish

• A bowl or cup of water

1. Start adding the 3 nail polish colors into the bowl of water in concentric circles.

1. Paint your nails with the darkest shade of turquoise. This will serve as your base.

Important Tips To Be Followed

• Always try and protect the skin around the nails with tape or petroleum jelly so that it's easy to remove the nail polish later.
• Make sure to only slightly swirl the colors in the bowl of water. This gives it a more natural effect.
• Use a larger bowl. More surface area means that you can dip all your nails in at once and don't need to refill.
